Damn, if I’m not a PRODUCER.
I am passionate creating opportunities for emerging artists to find each other, share their work, and help each other grow; thus, I am particularly interested in supporting new work by emerging/early-career artists, specifically those who are a part of the LGBT+ community.
Whether that means holding a developmental reading, mounting a full production, or fostering community spaces and opportunities, I want to take the administrative burden off of artists and give them the support that they need to make shit happen!!

SMaK Productions is currently made up of Kelsey Sullivan, Jenna Meadows, & Abrah Ophelia Katzman. Our company aims to create sustainable, accessible and playful art for people of all ages.
We want to showcase work that is interactive, playful, and most importantly, fun. We believe in fun as a healing source of energy and inspiration that reinforces other crucial values like community and love.
Additionally, art should be accessible to all communities and we strive to create illuminating work that can be seen by and appreciated by all regardless of socioeconomic background.
We are dedicated to creating theatrical experiences that utilize creative teams made up of entirely emerging artists who are passionate about making theatre, and whose voices have not yet been elevated by other platforms.
We have produced several shows, including WORM TEETH at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which received multiple 4 star reviews from critics at EDFestMag, The QR Review, London Theatre 1, & more. READ MORE HERE

Gamepiece is THE spontaneous theatre game show guaranteed to spit out a new play every time.
Using a series of games, challenges, nightmares, nightmares, nightmares, and yes, a big spinning wheel, The Sleight of Hand ensemble crafts a three act narrative story that’s not just audience interactive, but audience collaborative: audience members may veto decisions the actors make, participate in live writers rooms, bring props from home to influence the plot and — in the grand finale — co-write the ending based on their favorite ending from theatre/literature/film.
Gamepiece featured consultation from game designer Day Lane, and was developed at a residency in the 2023 Evolution Festival at the Center at West Park. Producers include Anna Lettera, Kelsey Sullivan, & Christian Flynn

In a society not so different from our own, paper money/currency as we know it has been erased and replaced with “love transactions.” The more love you give, the less wealth you’ll have, and the more love you take, the more wealth you’ll have. Enter Kevin, a 28 year old con man who has found the secret to getting rich quick! Will he stay a con forever, or will love get him in the end?

A generational conflict arises in a Rust-Belt VFW bar when Bill, a quiet veteran who served in Afghanistan, meets longtime friend and military spouse Margaux. At the same time, ornery Vietnam vet Hank threatens to tear the bar apart looking for his beloved Hanoi Jane urinal stickers which have recently disappeared from the bar’s bathroom. What follows is an exploration of violence, grief, and masculinity in the wake of American conflict overseas.
THE ZOOM ZOOM ROOM

A virtual new work reading room, ZZR provided an important space for connection and creativity, allowing artists from all over the world to network, as well as for emerging writers to present their new works and ask for feedback from other creatives.
Together with Elisa Tarquinio, we sourced scripts and audition tapes, scheduled and casted readings, and facilitated each event, running a feedback session about each work post-reading that was tailored to the needs of the writer.
Over 30 virtual readings and developmental sessions throughout 2020-2021!
All sessions featured emerging actors, writers, directors, and theatre-makers from all over the world.
